Invisible Flock are an interactive arts studio based in the UK, making groundbreaking, innovative artworks to be experienced and participated in by thousands all over the world. Their multidisciplinary, technologically driven practice seeks to redefine and disrupt traditional perceptions and models of global art practice.
In 2019 Invisible Flock will be carrying out their project in Finland called Earth Tones – Maan Äänet, which is commissioned by the Finnish Institute in London and supported by the Kone Foundation through a Saari Residency.
Creative Director Victoria Pratt and Creative Producer Catherine Baxendale made a scoping visit to Finland in April for researching potential sites for mapping, meeting partners and collaborators and making plans for data collection journey to be taken in May.
